at leap.club, we believe that our company culture forms the foundation of our success.
we’ve identified 10 tenets that define our culture (or dna as we like to call it) — these are values that we strive for in everything we do and everyone that we work with.
with transparency comes trust. honest feedback – upward, downward and peer-to-peer is critical to what keeps us ahead of the curve.
we value honesty in all of our interactions, both with our team and members alike. we believe honesty builds respect and is essential for creating strong relationships; and the only rule for feedback - never having to sugarcoat it.
one step above just truthful communication is the norm. we believe in going above & beyond with (over)communicating, and that this is key to moving things running and eventually, success.
we also strive to keep everyone well-informed about what’s happening across verticals and within the company.
thinking, doing and iterating fast. we grow by learning and we learn by shipping. we move quickly to seize opportunities and solve problems.
we also recognise that speed requires focus, so we prioritize our time and energy on the most important tasks.
speed of execution is our strongest moat, and our sharpest weapon.
you’re more than just a pair of hands. doing aside – we want our people to embody our mission and translate that into vigour for the work.
originality, out-of-the-box ideas, and going against the grain are valuable ethics to have - we are passionate about our work and the legacy we want to leave behind. all in or nothing.

we don’t thrive with great ideas alone, but rather big thinking with diligent execution. we believe that hard work and diligence are essential to achieving our goals; we like to approach every task with a sense of purpose and determination, and never give up until we have achieved our objectives (or learned something new along the way!)
we are committed to using our resources wisely. we believe that being frugal allows us to maximize our impact and to achieve more with less — encouraging creativity & innovation. wise business decisions over fluff, always — throwing money at a problem is never our solution!

8. ownership & accountability
we believe in taking ownership of our work and being accountable for our actions. we strive to be proactive in identifying and solving problems, and we take responsibility for the outcomes of our decisions.
we don’t believe in follow-up culture!
9. intellectual humility
we believe in the importance of intellectual humility, which means being open to new ideas and perspectives, and recognizing that our own beliefs and opinions may be fallible.
speaking of which, being humble is non-negotiable.
10. making leap.club win
the most important one.
we don’t blindly stick to defined roles & responsibilities — while we have job titles, we are not married to them. our decisions are based on the quality of work and ideas > seniority of designations.
